DEAN OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT PARTICIPATED IN A CONFERENCE

The Dean of the Department of Management Miqayel Tavadyan participated in a conference organized by the initiative of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration entitled "Participatory Democracy at the  Local Level". Miqayel Tavadyan informed ASUE Media and Public Relations Division about this and mentioned that experts of Council of Europe, representatives of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, the RA National Assembly, Yerevan Municipality, the RA Regional Administrations and Local self-government bodies, social and international different organizations, Universities were present.
"We had an opportunity to listen to European experts who deal with problems of democracy, they highlighted expansion of democracy at the  local level, suggested directions, which will give an opportunity to make society become participants of solving management problems", said Miqayel Tavadyan and added that he was invited to participate in the conference as a Dean of Department which prepares specialists of management. Miqayel Tavadyan said that the role of preparing young specialists of state and municipal management was highlighted in this conference, having the mission to promote the expansion of boundaries of democracy.
