GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT WAS OVER: OUR TEAM HAS REGISTERED PROGRESS COMPARING WITH LAST YEAR

Girls’  basketball  tournament organized  within framework of  student 14th  republican  sport  games  in Armenian-Russian (Slavonic)  University  was  over  on March 22.  Our  University’s  team  played  with  the  one  of  Yerevan State Linguistic  University  after  V. Bryusov  for the  3rd-4th  places and  won the  4th  one.  The  acting Head of  the  Chair  of  Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense  Simon Hakobyan  said  that  though our team  had lost the  game  but   the  girls  displayed inflexible  will.  He  also  mentioned  that  the  4th  place  was  also honorable  for  us  and  so they  had  registered  progress  comparing   with   student  13th  republican  sport  games.  The  team of  Armenian-Russian (Slavonic)  University  won the 1st,  the one of  Yerevan  State University  won  the  2nd  and  the  team of  Yerevan  State  Linguistic University  after  V.  Bryusov won  the  3rd  places.
