GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT OF STUDENTS’ 14TH REPUBLICAN SPORT GAMES WILL START TODAY

As  we  have  already  informed boys’  basketball tournament  of  Students’  14th Republican Sport  Games started  at  the  gym of  Yerevan State  University  on March  12.
After  the  end  of  the  first tournament  according to  the  order  accepted  in sport  world solemn opening ceremony  of  Student Sport Games will  take  place  today  at   Armenian-Russian (Slavonic)  University  at  15:00pm.  After  the  end  of  the  solemn  ceremony  girls  basketball  tournament  will start,  which  is  attended  by  different  universities  in the  Republic.  The acting  Head of  ASUE  Chair of  Physical Training,  Emergency   Situations and Civil   Defense  informs that  ASUE  girls’  team will  play with  the  one  of  Armenian  National  Agrarian University   at  17:30pm.
All  games of this  tournament will take place  at  the  gym of Armenian-Russian (Slavonic)  University.
P.S. Boys’  basketball  tournament  was  over  on March  16.  The  team of  Pedagogical  University of   Gyumri won the  first,  the  one  of  Yerevan State  University  won the second  and the team of  Yerevan State  Medical  University  won the third  places.
ASUE  boys’  basketball  team  won  the  5th place.
