LAUNCH OF THE COLLABORATION IN EU EDUCATIONAL FIELD
The new EU Center in Armenia hosted an official opening ceremony for the members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of Armenian educational institutions today. ASUE Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor Koryun Atoyan, the Head of Division of Foreign Relations Vard Gukashyan also participated in the event.
The Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Train Hristea said in his welcoming speech that education is a ticket to the future. "Only those, who prepare for tomorrow will be successful. The EU Centre will work with university and secondary school students to increase awareness about the European Union and its activities in Armenia", said the Ambassador.
It is also said in the release that in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science, the EU Center will assist teachers in developing and implementing with EU-related courses at schools and universities, The Center will help to build a network of graduates from European exchange programmes, so that young people can share their experiences and present success stories about studying in the European Union.
