THE ENTRANCE OF MARKET RELATIONS INTO ART IS UNACCEPTABLE

Well  known  musician and composer  Vahan Artsruni  was  hosted  in  ASUE  Big Hall  by the  invitation of  ASUE Student  Council.  

“The first  specialty:  doctor,  the second  specialty and   mission:  a  musician, our  guest  will  act  to you,  will  answer  your  questions, will speak  about the  problems existing in cultural field”,  presenting  the  gest,   the  Head  of  Theatrical and Literary Studio  of Student  Council  Harutyun Arzumanyan  informed  that  the  meeting  will  be  spent  with  new  format and  the participants  can give  their  questions to  the  composer.

“I am so  happy for  such an initiative, and  this meeting to be  organized.  You  called  me  a  well  known  composer in  all  your  announcements,  I  deeply touched and impressed  of  such  an  assessment”,  welcoming  the  students  said  Vahan  Artsruni  and  thanked  for  the assessment.  Beloved  musician  referred to the  Armenian  culture,  particularly  music.  The  perception  of  art,  music  is  polar  in  society  today.  All  think  that  the music should  be  happy or sad.  And  another  music has been  created  in this  environment, it’s  so  difficult”,  said  the  composer,  noting that  it’s  so  difficult to  say  what  kind of  music  he  wrote.   Vahan  Artsruni  offered  the  students  as   future  economists  to  speak  about  Show  Business.  The  speaker  noted  that Show  Business  was only  illusion  in Armenia  which ended with  restaurant performances.  The  musician  observed  that  the  market  relations  had entered this  field  and  had  reached  to  supply and demand terms.  Vahan Artsruni  mentioned  that  those  who followed that principal couldn't create real works of art, because  there  is  no   differentiation  between the  subjects  and  creations.

The  speaker  referred  to  the  origins  of  Armenian music:  Mesrop  Mashtots, Nerses  Shnorhali, Komitas, Narekatsi, their  created unique and beautiful spiritual music,  noting  with regret  that  today  the  music  had  left  national  origins.

The  musician answered  the   students’  all  questions,  interrupting  them with  beautiful  songs.
