THE SCIENTIFIC-RESEARCH WORKS OF ASUE STUDENTS WILL BE ENCOURAGED: THE 34th SESSION OF SSS HAS BEEN OPENED (photos)
The 34th session of SSS has been opened at ASUE Hall today. “We, the whole staff of Faculties highlight the students’ participation in scientific and research works and we shall do our best to develop our students’ research, analyze abilities”, said Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor, opening the session. The Rector also mentioned that grants would be provided from the budget of the University since coming year to encourage the implementation of research works by the students and the participation in scientific session.
Gagik Vardanyan, the Vice-Rector of ASUE Scientific and International Relations, Doctor of Economics, Professor, said that “Scientific research makes the education motivated” and remembered his first participation in session of SSS.
The authors of works, won in the department stage and Masters, who didn’t take part in previous stage, take part in the session’s works.
P.S. The department stage was organized during the 2nd semester of the 2011-2012 academic year.
Vladimir Gevorgyan, the President of SSS, welcomed the students. He mentioned that the session has been organized by SSS and Student Council. Vladimir Gevorgyan presented the staff of jury (the representatives of the University’s faculty staff), the system of assessment and informed that the session would continue on November 1 and 2.
Today the participants listened to 4 reports. After the reports ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan, the representatives of Faculty staff gave questions to the students.
The works of the session will continue tomorrow, on November 1, at 10:00a.m. at ASUE Conference Hall.
