THE FIRST ASUE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL'S SESSION OF THIS ACADEMIC YEAR TOOK PLACE

The  first  ASUE  Scientific  Council's  session  took place  today  at   Conferenca  Hall,  headed  by  Koryun Atoyan,  the President  of  Scientific  Council,  ASUE  Rector,  Doctor  of  Economics,  Professor.  About  ten  issues  were  in the  agenda,  but  before  passing to  the  agenda  Koryun Atoyan  announced  about a  pleasant  ceremony:  he  congratulated   the  University's  lecturers Lendrush  Ghalumyan  on the 85th,  Lyuba  Mehrabyan  on  the  60th   and  Martiros  Petrosyan  on the  60th  anniversaries.

Mihrdat  Harutyunyan,  the  Vice-Rector  of  Educational-Organizational  Matters  had  a report  about the results  of  final  works  and  protection of  Master  thesis  and  final  exams.

Paruyr  Qalantaryan,  the  Vice-Rector  of  ASUE  Educational-Methodological  Matters  presented  the  issue of doing  changes  in  regulation  about “Assessment  of  knowledges  in  credit  system  and    mechanism of administration”.    ASUE Rector  Koryun Atoyan   gave  an opportunity to everybody  to  express their  opinions  concerning  this  issue.
During  Scientific Council's  session  the issues  of  awarding   a  scientific  degree  of  associate  professor  to the  presented a  number of  canditates,  the  Deputy of ASUE  Gyumri  Branch  Andrey  Avetisyan's   participation in the contest  announced  for   the vacancy of  Chairholdre  of  natural subjects  were  set  in a  secret ballot.  Gagik Vardanyan,  the  Vice-Rector  of  Science  and  International  Relations,  presented  a  topic  of   doctoral dissertation, as well as  issues  of  approval  of  PhD theses topics  and   scientific directors:  Scientific Council  made decisions about  them.
