ASUE ADMISSION COMMITTEE OVERCOME SUMMER ADMISSION EXAMINATIONS WITH HONER: THE WORKS ARE GOING ON
The tense days of ASUE full-time Bachelor program's admission examinations are left behind. ASUE Admission Committee overcome summer examination period. Miqayel Tavadyan, the Executive Secretary of ASUE Admission Committee mentioned that they had worked nearly three months with the applicants, helped to fill in the applications, cheked in the documents of the applicants, gave advise and information.
ASUE Admission Committee works and goes on working according to the everyday direction of the Assessment and Testing Center. The Executive Secretary said that the Committee has been working well and no extraordinary cases were registered. The Committee worked during weekends and holidays.
Miqayel Tavadyan refered to the admission examination of full-time Bachelor program and informed that 2477 applicants have applied to ASUE, 1263 of them have entered the University. 92 of them have entered with free system, 1166 with paid system, among which 300 are the additional places given by the RA Ministry of Education and Science. 72 accepted students with free system of 92 are the places given by the University, 10 of them are the students accepted with privileges (children of deceased soldiers, first and second-degree disabled, disabled since childhood, two-parent orphans), and 10 places are for prepering targeted personnels for the RA Ministry of Defence. The Executive Secretary informed that 23 applicants had entered according to the target places given to Artsakh. So, 23 applicants, who had passed joint examinations successfully, entered ASUE, 2 of them are with privileges (children of deceased soldiers), 8 applicants of 21, according to their points, entered with free system, 8 with paid system, the Government of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh will pass the education fee of 5 students.
Miqayel Tavadyan mentioned that the admission process of the full-time Master program for the 2012-2013 academic year had been organized successfully. The works in Admission Committee are going on. The admission of part-time programs has started. Armenian State University of Economics has announced an admission of part-time programs since August 10 and started the admission of applications.
P.S. The admission of documents for part-time Bachelor program lasts from August 10 to September 20, 2012.
The exams will be organized on September 29 and 30, 2012. The admission of documents for part-time Master program lasts from October 10 to September 25, 2012. The exams will be organized from the 26th to the 30th of September.
