HOVIK ABRAHAMY CONSIDERS POSITIVE ASUE’S INITIATIVE TO ACTUALIZE MASTER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WITH THE EMPLOYERS: A MEETING IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On June 18 Hovik Abrahamyan the RA National Assembly President met with the members of the Student Council of the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) and Koryun Atoyan, the Rector of the University.
The official website of the NA informs about this: “As ASUE Council President, the Head of the Parliament discussed with the students their upcoming programmes and works to be done. The students talked about new initiatives, presented the current problems of the Higher Educational Institution. Being interested in the process of the examination period, the NA President underlined the necessity of reducing corruption risks and excluding it with joint efforts in the educational institution. Hovik Abrahamyan called on the students to study well and enrich their knowledge, reminding them that the good specialist was always demanded. In this context the Head of the Parliament considered a good opportunity of experience the initiative of the University to implement Master’s educational programmes with the employers. The NA President urged the members of the Student Council to be active in implementing educational programmes, making reforms and cooperate with the leadership of the Higher Educational Institution.
Mr Abrahamyan informed the future economists that from September the formation of new Youth Parliament would begin.
In the course of the meeting other issues were also discussed.”
