SYSTEM, POLICY AND PROCEDURES OF QUALITY ASSURANCE WERE DISCUSSED

A  workshop  titled  "Quality  assurance:  policy  and  procedures"  took  place  at  ASUE  Conference   Hall,  which  was  attended  by  Ruben  Topchyan,  the  Director  of  "National  Center  for  Professional  Education  Quality  Assuerance"  foundation,  Susanna  Karakhanyan,  the  Head  of  the  foundation's  Policy  Devlopment  amd  Implementation  Division,  Koryun Atoyan,  ASUE  Rector,  Vice-Rectors,  Heads  of  Chairs,  students.

"Creation  of  quality  system  in our  University  is  importent  first  of  all  for  creating  free,  unbending  platform  for  academic  debates, where  the  scientific  thinking  and  innovation,  the  collaborative  relationships  will  found  the  start  of  the  University's  system  of  values  and  culture   of  quality",  said  Koryun  Atoyan  and  wished  effective  work  to  the  workshop.

Ruben  Topchyan,  the  Director  of  "National  Center  for  Professional  Education  Quality  Assurance"  foundation,  spoke  about  the  policy  and  procedures  of the  RA  education  system's  quality  assurance.  He  mentioned  that  the  organiztion  which  he  rules  has  adopted  a  definition,  according  to  which  the  quality  must  be  equivalent    to  the  final  goal.  The  speaker,  presenting  the  system  of  quality  assurance,  standards  for  quality  assurance  in  higher  education  of  the  RA,  European  standards  for  quality  assurance  and  the  main  principle  of  landmarks,  referred  to  the  internal  standards  and  landmarks  of  University's  assurance.  He  mentions  that  in  education  process  the  final  result  of  education:  knowledges  achieved  by  students,  abilities  and  skills,  the  resistance  of  competition  challenges are  more  important  than  the  planning  of  education  process. 

Ruben  Topchyan  said  that  till  2014  the  RA  Universities  should  be  accredited.  This  process  will  be  spent  once  in five  years.
