EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES OF THE BOLOGNA WAS DISCUSSED IN ASUE YEGHEGNADZOR BRANCH

On  March  3, at  ASUE  Yeghegnadzor Branch  a  debate  was  organized  based  on  the  department  of  academical  freedom  and  the  problems  of  university  autonomy  from  "Challenges  of  High  Education:  from  Bologna  to  Erevan"  educational-methodological  manual  authored  by  Sergo  Yeritsyan  and  Armen  Tchughuryan.  He  led  the  debate, the  heading  was  "How  could  we  study  or  how could  we  teach?"

Sos  Khachikyan, the  Director  of  ASUE  Yeghegnadzor  Branch,  and   Edgar  Ghazaryan, the Dean   of ASUE  Management  Department,  were  present  at  the  debate.

The  students  discussed  the  issues  concerning  the  organization  of  student-center-education,  elective  subjects,  academic  credit  transfer,  the  assessment  of   students  for  the  faculty  work.

  In the  result  of  debate  it  was  signed  that  such  factors  as  unawareness of  the  student's  right,  some  lecturers  set  attitude  towards  the  educational  reforms  now  constrain  the  full  realization  of  academic  freedom.
