THE RA MINISTER OF DEFENSE VISITED ASUE

ASUE   Faculties,  students,  workers  had    hours  of  pride  and  pay,  entertaining  Seyran  Ohanyan,  Defense  Minister   of  the  RA,  General-Colonel,  in  ASUE  on March  2.   The   meeting  was   organized  with  the  initiative  of  Koryun  Atoyan,  ASUE  Rector, and Student  Council.

The  participants  listened  to   the  comprehensive   intimation of   the  Minister  refering  the  story  of   formation  and  development  of  a twenty-year-old   Armed  Forces  of  the  RA.  Seyran  Ohanyan  mentioned   the  strong  will,  courage  and  loyalty  of  ASUE   soldiers’   in  tha  Artsakh  Battle.  He  attached  importance  to  the  military-patriotic  education of  youth,  as  well  as   the  organization  of  education   in the  armed-  forces.

The  RA  Minister  of  Defense  visit  was  marked with  a  pleasant  ceremony:  the   Minister  awarded  Aram  Sargsyan,  the  Head  of  ASUE  Department of  Philosophy,  Doctor  of  Philosophy,  Professor,  Alexander  Harutyunyan,  the   Consultant  of  the  ASUE  Division  of  Career  and  Marketing,  “The  Armed  Forces.  20  years”  jubilee  medal  for  investment  having  in  military-patriotic  education.  Arayik  Martirosyan,  a part-time  third-course-student  of  the  Department  of  Marketing  and  Business,  Vigen  Tarkhanyan,  a  full-time  fourth-course-student of  the  Department  of  Accounting  and  Audit,   received  madals  for  impeccable  service.

In the  end  Seryan  Ohanyan, the  RA  Minister  of  Defense,  and  Koryun  Atoyan,  ASUE Rector,  gave  symbolic  gifts  to each  other.
