EUROPEAN STUDENTS UNION DELEGATION IN ARMENIA WILL MEET KORYUN ATOYAN, ASUE RECTOR, TODAY

European  Students  Union  Delegation  will  meet  Koryun  Atoyan,  the  Rector  of  ASUE,  Doctor  of  Economics, Professor,  at  15.30 a.m.  today. Problems  of  stdents  involvement  in the  managemnet  of  high  education, financial  problems  of  student  structures will be discussed  during  the  meeting.

Sargis  Asatryan, an assistant  of  the  Chair  of  Management,  the President  of  International  Relations  Committee  of  Students’  Association  of Armenia, informed  the  purpose   of  the  visit  of  European  Students  Union  Delegation  to  Armenia  is  to  spend  monitoring  of  high  education  situation  in  the  RA, as well as  to  evaluate  the  students  involvement  in  this  field.

“We want  to  remaind, that Students’ Association of   Armenia  has  been chosen as  the  candidate  member  of  the  European  Student  Union  in  the  result  of  majority  voting (82 for,  2  against) in  Bulgaria in  November.

In  the  result of  this  current  monitoring  the  issue  of  full  membership  will  be  discussed  in Denmark (Copenhagen)  and  Romania (Bucharest). Note  that  Globalized  World  puts  forward  new  problems,  from  which  the  students  aren’t also free. Therefore,  the  integration  of  students  to  international  different  structers, is  important.  In this  case  our  student  will  feel  as  a  full  member  of  Eropean  high  education  family,  will  take  part  in  overall  process”, explained  Sargis  Asatryan  while  speaking  with  the  Media  and  Public  Relations Diviosion.

Addition: European  Student  Union  Delegation  will  meet  with  the  members  of  ASUE  student  council.  During the  next  days  they  will visit  a  number  of  State  and Private  Universities,  will  meet  the  Ministery  of  the  Education  and  Science  of  the  RA.
