ASUE Management hosted the delegation of Swiss University

Today, Rector of  Swiss  UMEF University, Professor  Djawed Sangdel,  and   Vice Rector of Educational Affairs, Professor  Alain Hoodashtian  were  hosted  in   Armenian State  University  of  Economics.

Koryun Atoyan, ASUE  Rector, Doctor  in Economics, Professor  hosted  them in his  office:  Gagik Vardanyan, Vice  Rector of  Science  and  International Relations, Khoren Mkhitaryan, Head of  Science Division, Vard Ghukasyan, Head of  Foreign Relations  Division attended the  meeting.

Welcoming the guests Koryun Atoyan presented international activity  of our  University, noting that international projects are  important for increasing  education quality.

Rector of  Swiss  UMEF University, Professor  Djawed Sangdel  expressed  gratitude  for hospitality  and  noted  that  it’s  great  honor  for them to  be hosted  in  Armenian State  University of  Economics. Professor Djawed Sangdel    presented brief information about their University, noting  that it’s  not European University, but the one in  Geneva,  which  has representations  in 4 countries and has 2 colleges, replenishes  its  staff by specialist  from 24 countries, including Armenia:  Khoren Mkhitaryan, Head of  ASUE Science  Divisionis  one  of  them.

During the visit, a cooperation agreement is  planned  to  be signed between Armenia State University of Economics and  Swiss UMEF University. They  are interested  in joint BA, MA  and research projects. 

ASUE  Rector  Koryun Atoyan expressed  willingness to  support the  presented proposal of cooperation.

In addition ASUE  Rector stressed provision of quality education, emphasizing that such  initiative should be based on this approach.

P.S. Tomorrow, at 10:00 the  delegation of  Swiss University will  meet ASUE  faculty  staff  and  students  in  ASUE  Big Hall.
