ASUE Members Got Acquainted with China's Foreign Policy and Got Certificates
A special course “Rethinking China’s Foreign Policy”, organized by the “China-Eurasia Political and Strategic Research Council” was conducted in Tekeyan Cultural Center on December 15-20, which was attended by Mariam Mnatsakanyan, employee of ASUE Library, and Davit Barseghyan, the 3rd year student of Department of Management. The selection of participants was done online, based on motivation letters and recommendations
Only 19 participants of the 23 ones, including ASUE employee and student succeeded in collecting enough scores in teamwork and were awarded certificates.
Our University participants told ASUE Media and Public Relations Division, that the course was unique opportunity to get acquainted with the prospects of development of Armenian-Chinese, as well as China-Azerbaijan, China-US relations. The main purpose of the course is the comprehensive discussion of contemporary China’s foreign policy, sharing knowledge and skills with Armenian young professionals. The course was conducted by Armenian and foreign specialists: Vardan Atoyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Political Science and Law, Vice-Chairman of Expertise Board of ASUE “AMBERD” Research Center, Invited expert of the Central Asia Institute of Shaanxi Normal University, reported on “China's foreign policy and Armenia”, Karen Veranyan, Head of Centre for Political Studies at the “Noravank” Foundation reported on "Armenian-Chinese Relations in the Context of “One Belt One Way” Chinese Initiative”, Beniamin Poghosyan, Deputy Head of National Defense Research University, MoD, RA, the Executive Director of the Political Science Association (PSAA), reported on “Persian Gulf - Black Sea Multimodal Transport Corridor as Strategic Opportunity to Join the "One Belt One Way" Initiative” other reports were also presented.
