ASUE professor participated in the 9th Joint Conference on Education and Financial Accountability Specialists of World Bank
On June 5-7, 2024, Ulcinj, Montenegro, hosted the 9th Joint Conference of Education and Financial Accountability Specialists. This conference was organized by the World Bank's Center for Financial Accountability Reforms and was attended by Dr. of Economics Hayk Mnatsakanyan, Professor and Head of ASUE Chair of Financial Accounting.
The event brought together distinguished representatives from the public and private sectors of accounting, as well as professionals and academics. Experts from the International Federation of Accountants, the European Union, and various other international institutions also participated in the conference, contributing to the discussions and exchanges of ideas on topical financial accountability issues.
Delegations from the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, and the Council of Public Control of Accounting and Audit participated in the conference as well. According to Hayk Mnatsakanyan, Head of the ASUE Chair of Financial Accounting, it is crucial to underline that the knowledge and experience acquired during the international conference and meetings with experts are significant for advancing the accounting profession in the republic. They play a pivotal role in implementing ASUE's strategy and effectively applying progressive ideas to enhance such practices within the field.
