Think Tank of the University of Economics Published AMBERD Bulletin (photos)

AMBERD research center of Armenian State University of Economics is releasing a new, scientifically popular journal. Today, presentation of AMBERD Bulletin was held at ASUE attended by Vahan Movsisyan, ASUE Board Chairman, Diana Galoyan ASUE acting Rector, Vice Rectors Tatul Mkrtchyan and Armen Grigoryan, Davit Hakhverdyan, Director of AMBERD Research Center, the editorial board of the journal, guests, ASUE staff members and students.

The bulletin of Research Center is a scientific journal and covers many different economic topics. It is published by ASUE Scientific Board decree in "Tntesaget" publishing house. 14 articles under 10 headings covering a wide range of topics: economy, finance, social policy, territorial development, competition, education, innovation, security and more are published in the first issue.

Diana Galoyan made opening remarks, welcomed the attendees stating that ASUE AMBERD Research Center publishes a bulletin for the first time, presenting important information on various economic issues in an accessible language. The Head of the University thanked the Director of the Center David Hakhverdyan and the staff for the work done.

ASUE Vice Rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan stated in his speech that the staff of the Center has made great efforts for publishing the bulletin and noted that it is a platform for public opinion on economic, political and regional events. Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Armen Grigoryan, as a former member of the Center, also congratulated and noted that the think tanks need to be involved in public policy decision-making and hoped that the bulletin would serve this purpose.

Director of AMBERD Research Center Davit Hakhverdyan presented the goal and content of the bulletin. The Head of the Center emphasized that the selection of topics will have no regularity, the bulletin will touch upon everything the public is interested in.

After the presentation the guests welcomed and congratulated the Center emphasizing that there was a need for such a bulletin and then made suggestions for developing the bulletin.

Dr. Vardan Atoyan - Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, told asue.am that the release of AMBERD analytical bulletin symbolizes the next and logical stage in the development of the Research Center.
