A regular training at ASUE: Students were evacuated due to gas leakage

ASUE Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense every year organizes trainings to prepare staff and students for emergency situations. Today, during the regular training, the evacuation of first-year students of the Department of Marketing and Business Organization was carried out. According to "Chemical Alert" scenario, gas was flooded as a result of the gas pipeline accident near the 4th building of the university, so the students quickly moved to a nearby shelter. There were 2 "injured" students who were taken out of the building later and received the necessary medical care.
Siranush Harutyunyan, Candidate of Chemistry, Associate Professor of the mentioned chair noted that this year training was initiated by ASUE Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense and organized jointly with Yerevan Municipality and the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.
