RIP Ishkhan Khlghatyan
The grateful, honored pedagogue-scientist, PhD in Economics, Professor at ASUE Chair of Theory of Economics Ishkhan Khlghatyan died at the 83rd year of his life. He worked at ASUE from the day of the University foundation until 2017, contributed to the establishment of the University and the Chair with his fruitful scientific-pedagogical activity.
"Mr. Khlghatyan was one of the devotees of our Chair, an exceptional person-intellectual, who beautified the environment with his presence. As a senior colleague, he maintained solidarity at the Chair. Naturally, he enjoyed the respect of his colleagues and students. Even after taking a well-deserved rest, he stayed in touch with the Chair, called and congratulated everyone on their birthdays, rejoiced in the success of the University and the Chair. He was an exceptional person, a respectable representative in the field of science and education”; said Firuza Mailyan, Head of the Chair, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor.
The famous scientist with professional and human qualities was an example for his students and colleagues. He was a knowledgeable and experienced lecturer, a brilliant intellectual, caring and compassionate colleague. Under the scientific patronage of Ishkhan Khlghatyan, a group of postgraduate students defended scientific dissertations and conducted valuable economic research. Note, on April 26, 2017, at the regular sitting of ASUE Chair of Theory of Economics, a special reference was made to Ishkhan Khlghatyan, a distinguished scientist-lecturer who turned 80 years old.
Congratulating the jubilee on that day, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Hovsep Aghajanyan noted that as a scientist, Ishkhan Khlghatyan dedicated his talent to discovering new ideas, he did it with high scientific taste. See the publication.
