The Final Online Scientific Seminar Within the Frames of the RA Science Committee Program was Held
On December 1, ASUE Chair of Macroeconomics organized a final online scientific seminar within the frames of the topic "Maintenance opportunities of effective cooperation between the real and financial sectors of the RA economy" of the program "Maintenance and development of the infrastructure of basic financing of scientific and scientific-technical activity" of the RA Committee of Science. According to him, the final scientific seminar aimed at presenting, discussing and summarizing the results of the research work envisaged by the tasks of the four stages of the research program. The members of the research group participated in the seminar: PhDs in Economics, Associate Professors Gayane Avagyan, Knarik Vardanyan, PhD in Economics, Assistant Professor Varsik Tigranyan, PhD in Economics Lusine Mkhitaryan, Head of the Fiscal-Monetary Policy Coordination Department of the RA Ministry of Finance, PhD in Economics Garik Petrosyan and post-graduate student Narek Karapetyan, who made extensive and interesting presentations. Tigran Martirosyan, Head of Division of Organization of Scientific-research Affairs, Firuza Mailyan, Head of the Chair of Theory of Economics, and Master’s degree students of "Macroeconomic Analysis", "State Regulation of Economy" participated in the scientific seminar.
The group researchers studied in detail and the factors causing internal shocks, the directions of their impact were revealed, the mechanisms of their spread, the ways of economic growth ensuring dynamic equilibrium in Armenia, the distribution of internal economic shocks in real and financial sectors of the economy were interpreted through different models. The effects of internal economic shocks on the macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Armenia - macroeconomic stability, accumulation of public debt, remittances were assessed, the effects of various fiscal and monetary policy responses in terms of ensuring macroeconomic stability were revealed. The scientific seminar was concluded with an active discussion. Most of the scientific results have already been published in scientific articles of the group researchers, including in international journals and scientific reports.
