RIP Grigor Kirakosyan

At the age of 84, the famous scientist and pedagogue, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Grigor Kirakosyan died.

The academic and administrative members of  Armenian State University of Economics, numerous graduates, the economic community of the Republic suffered a great and irreversible loss.

Grigor Kirakosyan was really a great scientist and a pedagogue, a skilled manager, an honest and kind colleague.

His contribution to the development and progress of our University is undeniable. Being the longest-term Rector of ASUE (1993-2006), leading the University during the years of proclamation and establishment of the newly independent Republic, he performed the task entrusted to him with great responsibility, with high awareness of his mission, uniting the staff, building and improving the University, giving impetus to the educational process.

The memory of a worthy scientist, pedagogue, devotee of education, citizen of principle will always be bright in the hearts of those who know him.
