RA President participated in the round table discussion on the challenges of the medical industry at ASUE

A round table discussion entitled "Outlines of the Progressive Growth of the Armenian Economy: Medical Industry" was held at the Armenian State University of Economics. RA President, the Chairman of the ASUE Board, Vahagn Khachaturyan, the First Deputy Minister of Health, Lena Nanushyan, representatives from the health sector, insurance companies, government officials, as well as regional representatives from the health sector have attended the event.

Mr. Armen Grigoryan, Acting Rector of ASUE, delivered a welcoming address, expressing gratitude to the President of the Republic of Armenia for attending the event. He then highlighted the endeavors of the "Amberd" Research Center, emphasizing its annual research initiatives aimed at addressing crucial economic issues throughout the republic.

In his address, the RA President extended a warm welcome to the participants and underlined the significance of implementing a mandatory health insurance system in the country. Moreover, he emphasized the necessity for comprehensive discussions, highlighting the importance of fostering mutual understanding among various segments of the community.

At the core of the discussion was the collective monograph on the medical industry, which featured presentations by the Amberd Research Center's experts Gagik Badadyan and Gagik Hakobyan. Mr. Badadyan featured "The Current State of the RA Healthcare System and the Foundations of Financing Health Services," while Mr. Hakobyan delved into "Health Insurance as a Component of the Development of the RA Healthcare System.
