The first session of ASUE Scientific Council for 2023/2024 academic year has been held

On September 8, the first session of ASUE Scientific Council for 2023/2024 academic year was held chaired by ASUE Rector, President of the Scientific Council Diana Galoyan.

Congratulating the start of the new academic year, the rector addressed the ASUE admission processes, assessed it satisfactory, and then underlined the organization of master's degree exams for applicants from Artsakh carried out online due to the current situation.

The Council evaluated the work of the admissions commission as satisfactory and recommended the execution of the educational programs, improvement of the educational process, and other organizational issues of the university to be carried out by the university's departments and divisions.

Rector Diana Galoyan addressed the second item on the agenda, and the Scientific Council approved the "regulations of the allocation of student allowances, state and nominal scholarships at ASUE" without any changes and recognized the regulations approved at the session of June 22, 2016 as invalid.

The Scientific Council has approved the PhD topics and scientific supervisors of 13 ASUE post-graduate students.

Summarizing the session, Rector Diana Galoyan drew the attention of the Council members to the crucial problems of improving the overall functioning of the university, especially pointed out the increase of the salaries of ASUE administrative and academic staff from September 1, 2023 (15% on average).
