Launch of the Work Package 4 of the T-GREEN Project

On June 6, 2024, a management meeting was held at the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) within the framework of the “Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future” (T-GREEN) project of the Erasmus+ programme. The meeting participants included the coordinators of the universities involved in the project and the heads of the working groups responsible for developing the educational programs.

The purpose of the meeting was the launch of the work package 4 (WP4) “Development/Reprofiling and Piloting of Green MA Degrees.” The lead beneficiary of this package is ASUE.

Nerses Gevorgyan, the ASUE coordinator of the project, welcomed the participants, presented the meeting agenda, and outlined the WP4 management principles, main objectives and expected outcomes. The participants discussed and approved the activities plan for the implementation of WP4, which was developed by ASUE.

In addition to the activities plan, a quarterly activities plan was also developed for the effective implementation of WP4. It was decided to develop unified templates for international benchmarking and educational programs.

The meeting participants approved the working groups established for the development of educational programs and the set-up council of educational program. It was agreed to meet on June 13 to compose steering committees for the development of a unified templates of educational programs and international benchmarking, and to discuss other related issues.

In the final part of the meeting, the heads of the educational program development working groups engaged in networking and discussed further activities.

To conclude the meeting, Varazdat Hovhannisyan, T-GREEN Project Coordinator, and Nerses Gevorgyan delivered closing speeches.

The Armenian participants of the project are the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of RA, the National Center for Quality Assurance, Yerevan State University, Eurasia International University, Armenian State University of Economics, French University of Armenia, National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Armenian National Agrarian University, Goris State University, Gavar State University, “Erasmus Students Network Yerevan” NGO and “Bridge of Hope” NGO.

The EU partners are Hellenic International University (Greece), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Catholic University of Portugal (Portugal) and Jagiellonian University (Poland).
