The 39th Issue of AMBERD Series Has Been Published
The 39th issue of the AMBERD series entitled “Peculiarities of Intercommunity Cooperation in the Context of Economic Development of Vayots Dzor Marz of the Republic of Armenia” is ready. Here are the research team members: Arpine Hovakimyan (Head of the research team), Tsovinar Karapetyan, Garik Siroyan, Liana Fidanyan, Mariam Khachatryan (members of research team).
The study is devoted to the problems of enlargement of local communities and intermunicipal cooperation in the Republic of Armenia. Forms and mechanisms of such cooperation are considered. Inter-municipal cooperation is analyzed in the context of modern municipal reforms and is considered as a definite alternative to the enlargement of local communities. Solving the problems of socio-economic development of municipalities on the basis of the development of inter-municipal cooperation is an urgent task for state authorities and local self-government. The solution of the local importance issues concerns the interests of the population living and functioning on the territory of various municipalities, which, within the framework of the legislation, can interact with each other in various forms.
