The Deputy Director of AMBERD Participated in the Webinar of the World Economic Forum

On May 5, Dr. Vardan Atoyan - Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, participated in the webinar entitled “Evidence-based response to COVID-19 in Africa” organised by World Economic Forum..

Dr. Vardan Atoyan told asue.am about the event, noting that the  keynote  speakers  were Dr. Darrell Bricker, CEO Public Affairs, IPSOS, Dr. Tom Frieden, infectious disease and public health physician, President and CEO of Resolve to Save Lives, an initiative of Vital Strategies, Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, WHO Regional Director for Africa and (Dr. John Nkengasong, Director, Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.

After the speeches , questions were asked, a discussion was held, opinions and thoughts were exchanged. “Thanks the organizers for the invitation. Of course, participation in the webinar was very useful and a very good opportunity to communicate with expert discussions in the world" ;  our colleague stated.
