The University of Economics devoted a memorable day to its graduates: the diploma awarding ceremony

The new generation of graduates of the University of Economics was awarded their diplomas on July 8.

President of the RA, Chairman of ASUE Board of Trustees Vahagn Khachaturyan, Minister of RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan, delegates of the RA National Assembly, representatives of administrative and academic staff of ASUE, famous ASUE graduates, parents, students and many guests were present at the awarding ceremony.

Before the start of the ceremony, those present rose in memory of ASUE students killed during 44-day Artsakh war.

Vahagn Khachaturyan held speech and pointed out that the new generation of ASUE graduates will make our country better for us to live more secure, be more powerful and overcome all the hardships.

“You are getting you diplomas today and a new path is open for you that will be very interesting in terms of your expectations, good and bad sides and full of achievements. You are the happiest people, you are young, powerful, have huge opportunities and dreams and will be implementers in the future” – the RA President pointed out.

Minister of ESCS of the RA Vahram Dumanyan encouraged them to gain professional and practical successes with their everyday work and added that education is our future, our power and we should get educated, powerful and self-organized.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan highlighted that in previous years the University of Economics put all its efforts to educate responsible citizens and assured that the new generation will have an important contribution to the development of our country’s economy.

“You are a part of our university and its mission, our ambassadors inside our country and beyond. I have witnessed your successes, felt proud of it, was delighted by your achievements and progress. We are grateful for your trust towards our university and wish you not to stop learning, improving your knowledge and designing the future. This is the only way to become competitive and I am sure that the best graduates of the University of Economics will enrich the progress of our country with their success stories” – Diana Galoyan pointed out.

Then the diploma awarding ceremony has taken place: the RA President, Minister of ESCS of the RA and ASUE Rector awarded the diplomas and certificates. The best graduates of ASUE six faculties and ASUE Gyumri branch have received gifts from the official representative of Hitachi, Zilli Group, Tashir Group, Maf Group, Flaless and Evocabank, namely the students Alina Arushanyan (Faculty of Accounting and Audit), Dayana Yuzbashyan (Faculty of Finance), Valentina Stepanyan (Faculty of Management), Anna Antonyan (Faculty of Marketing and Business Organization), Geghetsik Dallakyan (Faculty of Computer Science and Statistics), Tsovinar Gevorgyan (Faculty of Economic Regulation and International Economic Relations) and Lilit Mikayelyan (the best graduate of the 2021/2022 academic year, ASUE Gyumri branch).

Faculty deans have also prepared some prizes for the graduates: dean of the Faculty of Management Manuk Movsisyan has awarded the graduate of “Management” specialty, participant of 44-day long war Vazgen Davinyan, dean of the Faculty of Economic Regulation and International Economic Relations Grigor Nazaryan awarded the graduate of “Economics” specialty Luiza Poghosyan, dean of the Faculty of Finance Vahe Mikayelyan awarded the graduate of “Finance” specialty Movses Galstyan, dean of the Faculty of Marketing and Business Organization Narek Kesoyan awarded the graduate of “Marketing” specialty Sergey Bakhshyan, dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Audit Meri Badalyan has awarded Mikael Tavadyan, dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Statistics has awarded the participant of the 44-say long war Arthur Malkhasyan, director of Gyumri branch of ASUE Karen Petrosyan has awarded the graduate Hakob Hakobyan. ASUE Rector has awarded the “Sympathy Award” to the graduate of the master’s degree program of the Faculty of Finance Jora Stepanyan.

Other ASUE partners namely Inecobank, Acba bank, VTB bank, Haybusinessbank, Rosgosstrakh Armenia, Finca, Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom and Coca-Cola have given 200 small souvenirs to graduates with diplomas of merit and based on the lottery.

The ceremony was followed by the concert performed by saxophone player Moss Babajanyan, singer Lilit Osipyan and DJ Vakcina.
