The Essay Competition Was Summed Up : The Winners Are Known

Today, the presentation of the essay competition initiated by AMBERD research center and SSS for ASUE Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students was held.

In her welcoming speech, Rector Diana Galoyan emphasized the role of the SSS in the development of the student - as a researcher, and called for active involvement in research work. Then, the competition committee, headed by ASUE Rector, listened to the reports of all 8 participants, gave practical advice, and then, during a short break, decided the 1st-3rd prize winners. Let’s recall, that the students had done research work on the following topics: “Armenia at a New Geo-economic Crossroads: Tasks and Expectations” (for ASUE Bachelor’s degree students) and “Assessment of the Impact of the War on the RA Economy” (for ASUE Master’s degree students).

Here are the winners of Bachelor’s degree: Narine Petrosyan, Spartak Balayan, Vlad Atoyan.

Master’s degree ones: Alik Torosyan, Arman Tadevosyan, Angela Ayvazyan.

Summing up the competition, Tatul Mkrtchyan, Vice-Rector for Science, especially referred to the students for whom the competition was the first scientific experience, and expressed hope that in the future they will present higher quality research works.

According to the pre-announced condition, the participants who took the 1st-3rd places will be awarded 150000, 100000 and 50000 AMD, respectively, and the works that took the 1st place will be published in AMBERD Bulletin.
