"Lecturer Cup-2022" Interuniversity Sports Games Have Started

The "Lecturer Cup" interuniversity sports games, which have been held for more than 10 years on the initiative of the Armenian State University of Economics, have started.

About 300 lecturers and employees of 15 Armenian Universities take part in the games started with powerlifting championship this year. The program includes 7 sports: rapid chess, shooting, badminton, table tennis, powerlifting, tug-of-war and volleyball.

Today, on January 25, sports-loving lecturers competed in powerlifting championship at ASUE gym. In the individual championship, which was attended by 25 lecturers of 5 Universities, Arman Gulyan, the lecturer at ASUE Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, became the winner, Vardan Vlasyan, lecturer at the Chair of Theory of Economics, took the second place.

In recent years, Armenian Student Sports Federation has also joined the organization of the games. The participating Universities are also involved in holding the event at a high level, which will host the teaching teams participating in various championships on these days.

On February 4, "Lecturer Cup-2022" interuniversity sports games will be summed up with the volleyball championship, which will be followed by the closing and award ceremony.
