ASUE Lecturer Vahram Nalchajyan - Winner of the Inter-University Games Rapid Chess Championship
On January 26, the rapid chess tournament within the frames of the "Lecturer Cup" annual inter-university sports games took place in the chess hall of Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU), which was attended by lecturers from different Universities.
Vahram Nalchajyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Mathematical Methods in Economics, represented ASUE and became the winner of “Lecturer Cup – 2022”. Karen Chakhoyan, a representative of ANAU won the 2nd prize, Karapet Kogarov, a representative of National Polytechnic University of Armenia, won the 3rd prize.
Hermine Mkhitaryan, a representative of ANAU, became the winner in the women's tournament, Tamara Sargsyan, a representative of the Armenian State Pedagogical University, took the second place, and Margarita Beglaryan, representing Yerevan State Medical University, took the third place.
Let’s recall, the "Lecturer Cup-2022" inter-university sports games started on January 25 and will continue until February 4. About 300 lecturers and employees of 15 Universities of the Republic take part in the annual sports event.
