Continuation of the EL Fellow Program at ASUE
On August 30, the Acting Rector of the Armenian State University of Economics Armen Grigoryan hosted a meeting with Hasmik Mikayelyan, Specialist of Cultural and Educational Programs at the US Embassy in Armenia, and Dr. Jennifer Tuman. The meeting was attended by Lusine Danielyan, Director of the External Relations Department, Mkhitar Aslanyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Lusine Harutyunyan, Head of the Chair of Languages.
The primary objective of this meeting was to discuss strategies for ensuring the continuity of the second English Language Fellow program at ASUE.
During the 2024/2025 academic year, Dr. Jennifer Tuman, who possesses extensive experience in training and development within the fields of education and business, will be teaching at the university as part of this program at our university.
Welcoming the guests, Armen Grigoryan, Acting Rector of the Armenian State University of Economics, underlined the university's ongoing participation in the English educational program organized by the US State Department. The Rector expressed optimism that, through Jennifer Tuman's expertise and pedagogical skills, students will experience significant growth in their language proficiency and global awareness.
Lusine Danielyan, Director of the External Relations Department, introduced various international programs at the university, highlighting their extensive scope and substantial potential for fostering collaborative interactions.
Hasmik Mikayelyan expressed gratitude to the management of the Armenian State University of Economics for their effective collaboration. She highlighted the strong partnership with the Chair of Languages at ASUE and extended her thanks to Lusine Harutyunyan, the Head of the Chair.
