ASUE employees participated in the two-day training course: the focus was on changes in the labor code

On March 14 and 15, employees of ASUE Human Resources Management and Accounting Division, as well as professors of the Chair of Business Administration, participated in the training course on the draft amendments to the RA Labor Code, and its 12 participants were awarded certificates yesterday.

The training was conducted by Zhora Sargsyan, PhD., Head of the Labor and Employment Department of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Associate Professor of ASUE Chair of International Economic Relations. During the interview, he explained that the core focus of the training was on the changes to the labor code, but discussions were also about the existing regulations, because participants also had questions concerning this matter.

Please note that at the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia came forward with the initiative of large-scale amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, proposing to amend 122 of 266 articles of the Code. The revised draft of the law "On Making Amendments and Supplements to the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia" has already been approved by the government and will be included in the agenda of the plenary sessions of the National Assembly after the parliamentary hearings.
