ASUE girls' table tennis team as the winner of two major sporting events

On April 19, during the "Universiadia-2024," an inter-university sports and cultural event organized by the Armenian-Russian University, the ASUE girls' table tennis team secured its top position. Following this success, on April 27 and 28, our team once again won in the 25th Armenian Student Sports Games.

On May 6, the triumphant team, accompanied by Hovhannes Gabrielyan, head of ASUE Chair of Physical Education, Emergency Situations, and Civil Protection, as well as the coach Mesrop Ghukasyan was received by Armen Grigoryan, the Acting Rector of ASUE. Mr. Grigoryan extended gratitude to the team members, underlining the significance of not only participation but also the attainment of victory. He emphasized the university's continuous support for its students in all endeavors, whether academic, athletic, or otherwise, underlining the importance of striving for success in every pursuit.

In response, Hovhannes Gabrielyan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and continuous support from the university's leadership. He pointed out that thanks to this support, the ASUE girls' table tennis team is poised to compete in the European University Games scheduled to take place in Debrecen and Miskolc, Hungary, in July.
