The Ways of Introducing Agricultural Risk Insurance System in the Republic of Armenia
The study shows that there are no practical projects, methodology or legal regulatory acts to implement agricultural risk insurance. So, the goal of this study is to fill the gap; to develop an acceptable methodology to determine insurance premiums, calculate differentiated tariffs according to regions and main crops, offer the strategy for implementation of agricultural insurance system with the participation of the government and offer the road map for implementation of pilot projects. Especially, a study is done in order to evaluate the weighted average productivity of particular crop during the period of observation, the errors from weighted average productivity of the period were calculated according to particular observed years.
