Finalization of the 42nd session of ASUE SSS
On May 10, during the official event, ASUE Acting Rector Armen Grigoryan awarded certificates to participants who successfully completed the final stage of the 42nd session of the Student Scientific Society (SSS), entitled "Current Opportunities for the Development of the RA Economy." The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan, Director of the Amberd Research Center Davit Hakhverdyan, Rector's Adviser on Student Affairs Lilit Dadayan, and faculty officials from the University of Georgia.
Addressing the participants, Armen Grigoryan highlighted the significance of research work in student growth and professional development. He underlined that engagement in research serves the state and society, starting with the desire to explore the unknown.
The two-day final rounds were held on April 25 and 26. During these sessions, 23 participants, comprising both undergraduate and graduate students, presented their analyses on various economic issues, offering valuable observations, conclusions, and recommendations. The thematic diversity of the reports included research on foreign trade, tax incentives, poverty and employment, inflation, the mortgage market, tourism, artificial intelligence, and other topical issues.
Thus, based on the results of the 42nd session of the Student Scientific Society (SSS), the top three reports among undergraduate students were led by Armida Keryan, followed by Arman Mkrtchyan and Heghine Sargsyan. Silvi Stepanyan led the top three among Master's students. She was followed by Hayk Tenekejian and Hasmik Ghambaryan.
The participants who secured the first to third places were awarded 150,000 AMD, 100,000 AMD, and 50,000 AMD, respectively.
