A Training Course for Public Procurement Specialists Launched at ASUE

Today, another training course initiated by ASUE Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Division launched at ASUE.

The course entitled "Public Procurement System in the Republic of Armenia" is conducted by Gayane Gabrielyan, the Head of the Public Investment Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, President of the "Union of State Procurement Experts" NGO, specialist with 11 years of experience in the field of international public procurement.

Aghavni Hakobyan, Head of ASUE Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Division, made opening remarks noting that the Division organizes various training programs, but this is the first one in the field of procurement, we’re glad to note it will be conducted by a specialist with rich experience in the field. She expressed hope that the course will be useful for the participants.

Trainer Gayane Gabrielyan mentioned that she is an ASUE graduate, the cooperation with the University has a special significance for her, as it enables to establish contact with the native University. She also emphasized that the education gained at ASUE really paves a good way for the graduates. The trainer noted that there is a great demand for good procurement specialists in the labor market.
