Sport is An Integral Part of Our Life: Winners of the Lecture Sports Games Were Awarded

More than 200 lecturers and employees of 14 RA Universities took part in the traditional "Lecturer Cup" sports event held from January 29 to February 4 at ASUE.

Today, Hovhannes Gabrielyan, Head of ASUE Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, President of the RA Student Sports Federation, organized a meeting at our University to award the representatives of the participating Universities, as well as to present the report-summary of the RA Student Federation's activity of the previous year.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan welcomed the participants, noting that great attention is paid to sports at the Main University of Economics, the corresponding Chair regularly holds events, involving both the students, academic and administrative staff members.

Then Hovhannes Gabrielyan presented the Student Sports Federation’s activities in 2020, then outlined the tasks for 2021.

"11 out of 14 participating Universities won medals”; the Head of the Chair noted.
