"Accounting is a Business Language" - Professional Discussion with Future Accountants and Auditors

Holding extracurricular lecture is a part of ASUE educational process. Hosting of multifaceted specialists has become a tradition at our University: conducting professional discussions helps students to gain extra knowledge and practical advice, to participate in debate, teaches not only the role of the listeners but also the speaker. Representatives of ASUE Faculty attach great importance to similar meetings and personally initiate them.

Mary Badalyan, Dean of Accounting and Auditing Department, invited Gnel Khachatryan, Audit Manager at BDO Armenia CJSC Company, ACCA full member, who held an open lecture, attended by Faculty members of the above mentioned Department, the Dean, Liana Grigoryan, the Chair of Managerial Accounting and Auditing, Doctor of Sciences, Professor.

In his welcoming speech, the auditor noted that the meeting will be held not in just lecture format, but in professional conversation-discussion one. "You have wonderful lecturers and can learn more from the conducted lectures, and now I want just to share my experience".

Gnel Khachatryan, worked in the US, Russia, Georgia, Moldova, Central Asian countries, commented on the key issues in accounting and auditing processes, modern accounting programs, the features of working with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the expediency of applying the leading countries' experience in Armenia.
