The University of Economics and the Union of Banks of Armenia are partners: a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed

The Armenian State University of Economics and the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) will cooperate in order to improve the knowledge and skills of banking professionals.

This idea is the cornerstone of the cooperation of the parties involved, which was ratified today by the signature of a Memorandum of Cooperation by ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan and Executive Director of UBA Seyran Sargsyan. Tatev Vardanyan, Head of ASUE Career Center, and Arman Sargsyan, Deputy Executive Director of UBA, also participated in the meeting.

Welcoming the guests and the beginning of this cooperation, the ASUE Rector presented the partnership programs of the University of Economics with other organizations, aimed at improving students' skills, then speaking about the specialty "Organization of banking activities", she pointed out that ASUE is the only university in the country that implements this educational program, presented the process of reforming ASUE educational programs and training and certification of professors in cooperation with the Central Bank.

Diana Galoyan emphasized that the university is ready to cooperate in all formats that will be useful for students.

Presenting the possible directions of cooperation in a new format, the Executive Director of the UBA Seyran Sargsyan emphasized the current problems and the ones that should be improved in the process of preparation of highly qualified staff for the banking system.
