Between September 2 and 15, 2023, ASUE representatives traveled to the People's Republic of China on business. The purpose of the visit was to attend an international seminar hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC and the International Development Center of the National Development and Reform Commission of China. During the seminar, 27 representatives from 8 countries gained insights into China’s experience in transformation and economic development.
The ASUE delegation was led by Professor Tatul Mkrtchyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Doctor of Economics. The seminar featured lectures and discussions on China's development strategies, reforms, transformations, and planning. The delegation also visited various technological, industrial, and agricultural institutions in Beijing, Shanghai, and Wuxi.
As part of the seminar, each country’s delegation delivered a brief report on the transformations happening within their own countries.
