ASUE Employees Lectured and Were Trained at University of Pula

On May 24-28, Gayane Tovmasyan, Senior Research of AMBERD Research Center, PhD in Economics, Assistant Professor at the Chair of Management and Arsen Petrosyan, Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Regulation of Economy and International Economic Rеlations, Associate Professor at the Chair of Theory of Economics, PhD in Economics, visited Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (Croatia) within the frames of EU “Erasmus +” program.

While being interviewed Gayane Tovmasyan told asue.am that in order to exchange experience, ASUE representatives got acquainted with different departments of the University of Pula, and preliminary agreements were reached on the implementation of joint research projects.

The colleagues of the University of Pula were interested in Armenia and expressed a great desire to visit Armenia in the near future.

Gayane Tovmasyan lectured for the students of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism on the following topics: "Tourism Development World Trends", "Characteristics of Future Tourists (taking into account the impact of coronavirus)", "Positive and Negative Aspects of Tourism", " The Need for Sustainable Tourism", “Green Certificates and Eco-labels in Tourism Business", "Smart Technologies and Sustainable Tourism". In addition, brief information about Armenia and our University, especially emphasizing the sights of our country, was provided to students.

Although Arsen Petrosyan was invited by the administrative staff training program, but he was offered to hold lectures for the students of the Faculty of Economics. He lectured on the following topics: "Monetary Policy and Its Transfer Mechanism", "The Role of Investment in the Development of the Country's Economy", "The Impact of the Coronavirus on the Country's Economy, Investment Environment, Consumer Behavior".

Gayane Tovmasyan and Arsen Petrosyan, noted that the exchange program was an excellent opportunity to establish new acquaintances, exchange thoughts and ideas, gain experience, which will have a positive impact on the improvement of the research and educational process at ASUE, the expansion of international cooperation.
