ASUE –University of Gdansk Erasmus Cooperation promises to be effective

Within Erasmus+ program, from March 26 to April 1, lecturer at the chair of ASUE International Economic Relations, senior researcher of “Amberd” Research Center, PhD in Economics Albert Hayrapetyan was in Poland. He lectured on international trade and regional economic integration for master’s degree students in their first year studying at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdansk.

Albert Hayrapetyan told us that master’s students have listened to his lectures with high interest that was sometimes interrupted by lively discussions.

ASUE lecturer had meetings with members of the academic staff of the University of Gdansk and rather effective were his meetings and discussions with the dean of the Faculty of Economics Monika Bak, and deputy deans Przemyslaw Borkowski and Magdalena Markiewicz.

Albert Hayrapetyan demonstrated his willingness to expand cooperation between the above-mentioned faculty and “Amberd”, to deepen and develop available programs, as well as they arranged to implement mutual research on scientific issues of mutual interest as was discussed with Magdalena Markiewicz. He also met the lecturers of the University of Gdansk that are going to make a return visit to ASUE in May.

ASUE lecturer has returned from the University of Gdansk with bright impressions. “This university is a European university that applies innovative technology in their education. I am impressed by their teaching affairs and education quality. I am highly satisfied with meetings with lecturers and communication with students that had high level of knowledge. The academic settings were also impressive with its infrastructures and convenience” – told Albert Hayrapetyan and hoped that the cooperation with the Polish University will lead to expected results.
