ASUE lecturer lectured at Juraj Dobrila University

Karine Harutyunyan, PhD in Economics, lecturer at the chair of Mathematical Methods in Economics, senior researcher at the "Social Research" Scientific-Educational Laboratory, visited Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia, on June 4-8. The visit was within the framework of Erasmus+ lecturer exchange program. Karine Harutyunyan delivered a lecture on "Income Inequality. Assessment and Separation Methods" for master’s students. She noted that the students were particularly interested in the comparative analysis of Armenia's and Croatia's inequality indicators.

Staff of the Juraj Dobrila University organized an event outside the city for the foreign guests (Slovenia, Poland) of their university to get acquainted with partners and introduce their culture. This visit was the occasion for further agreements on cooperation. Vice Dean of the Department of Economics and Tourism of the Croatian University, Professor Din Sinkevich conducts a study on financial perception tools, and in case of expanding the scope of the research, he will include Armenia and apply to his Armenian counterpart. At the end of the next year, Juraj Dobrila University in Pula plans to organize an international conference and invite foreign colleagues cooperating with their university. Karine Harutyunyan added that the cooperation with ASUE was highly appreciated at the Croatian University.
