ASUE Lecturers Participated in Training Course on Civil Education

On February 21-22, 2020, Associate Professors at the Chair of Low and Political Science Dr. Vardan Atoyan, Deputy Director and Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, Sirak Hovhannisyan, PhD in Politics, and Hakob Manucharyan, PhD in History, participated in IFES Armenia’s “Engaged Citizen” University course, which is implemented within the framework of the USAID-founded “Strengthening Electoral Processes and Political Accountability in Armenian (SEPPA) project.

The training aimed at enhancing lecturers’ knowledge of new interactive teaching methods, as well as improving the skills needed to train and engage citizens in a democratic environment.

As an outcome, it is planned to introduce “Engaged Citizen” University course in 5 HEIs of Armenia. See the previous publication.
