ASUE members achieved success in the 23rd student sports games
Within the frames of the republican 23rd student sports games on April 14 the basketball inter-university games took place. ASUE girls’ basketball team has won the second place among 8 HEIs winning over the YSU team. The first place among boys’ teams was taken by YSU team and among girls – ASIPCS team.
On April 5 and 8, during the table tennis tournaments among boys and girls, ASUE girls’ team has won the second place.
ASUE student Yana Petrosyan has won the third place and among boys – ASUE Gyumri branch student Norik Ghazaryan has won the third place.
All the winners and prize-winners were awarded Certificates of Honor and souvenirs.
ASUE futsal student team had a successful game launched on April 14. ASUE team demonstrating a nice and tense game in the first round has won 5:0 against French University team.
More than 2000 student sportsmen from 25 HEIs of the Republic participate in student sports games. 17 tournaments from 18 types of sports and one League (futsal) will be held within the frames of the games.
