ASUE Representatives Attended Professional Round Table Discussion

On December 12, Responsible Mining Center of the American University Of Armenia initiated round table discussion on “The RA Mining Legislation Reform Initiative”, attended by ASUE representatives: Gagik Aghajanyan, acting Chair of Environmental Economics, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor,  Alisa Gevorgyan, Hayk Hakobyan, Anna Karapetyan.
Anna Karapetyan submitted information on the professional discussion, noting that ASUE scholars had raised their concerns over the environmental, social and economic issues in the mining sector, made recommendations (which were accepted with great interest among the participants), which will be included in the final version of the document developed by the Mining Legislation Reform Initiative.
