ASUE Signed a MOU with Bildung Nijmegen

On October 25, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan hosted René Donders, Chairman of Bildung Nijmegen Education and Innovation Development Organization and the representative of HAN University. The meeting was also attended by Aleksandrs Posts, the Director of the Latvian Youth Development Center.

As a result of the meeting a MOU was signed between ASUE and Bildung Nijmegen Education and Innovation Development Organization, within the frames of which student exchange programs, various events, courses, lectures, seminars aimed at raising awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals will be jointly implemented. The memorandum also envisages the expansion of cooperation on entrepreneurship, innovations, research and technology.

The beginning of the cooperation of ASUE and Bildung Nijmegen was marked by the lecture of René Donders for ASUE students. The speaker presented the problem of climate change from an innovative point of view, spoke about its importance, the consequences of climate change, as well as he touched upon innovative methods of learning and factors contributing to individual development.
