ASUE student Vahan Ter-Balyan won silver medal in World Armwrestling Champion

Vahan Ter-Balyan, 4th year student of the Finance Department, participated in the World Armwrestling Championship in Antalya, Turkey on October 12-21 and in the 65-70 weight category he won a silver medal. Today Vahan was a guest of the Media and Public Relations Division with the Arman Gulyan, trainer of ASUE armwrestler team, lecturer of the Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense.

Hand injury did not let Vahan show the excellent result in the championship. His hand was injured while armwrestling with the georgian athlete, whom he had won. Nevertheless, Vahan is not discouraged. He is going to continue actively participate in the international championships in Armenia after the treatment of the hand injury, and to perform his best result.
