ASUE students participated in Eurasia Global 2022 conference
On June 8-14, ASUE students in their third year majoring in Finance Arsen Hakobjanyan and Vahe Elbakyan participated in Eurasia Global- 2022 international youth conference held in Orenburg, Russia. Armenian delegation consisted of 10 members, 18-35 year old young people that participated in the conference organized by the federal agency for youth affairs of Russia and government of Orenburg region. Youth from 63 countries, with good knowledge of Russian participated in the conference and had an opportunity to develop joint projects, establish professional relations and exchange their experience.
The educational topics of the conference covered volunteering, career development, international youth cooperation and media.
The conference provided different formats for participation of young people: practical program, informal communication platform, online discussions, grant programs and cultural program. During the event “National Day”, representatives of each country introduced their songs and dances, and national cuisine. Armenian young people introduced Karno Kochari dance and were awarded the certificates.
Armenian youth were hosted by Armenian community representatives of Orenburg in “Armenian yard” that has a museum, art gallery and got acquainted with national costumes and musical instruments of 17-19th centuries exhibited in the museum.
Arsen Hakobjanyan told us about the bright impressions he brought back from Orenburg. Arsen was in the group of young people from different nations and countries and spent 7 days with his team members. He mainly participated in lectures on career and media together with his new friends and received the certificate. “I really appreciate the fact of having friends living in different parts of the world. This educational forum has opened new horizons for us to cooperate in the future, to design and implement new joint projects” – Arsen pointed out and added that he also invited his new friends to Armenia to participate in Summer School for Young people to be held in August 15-21 in Tsakhkadzor.
