The world famous Armenian scientist has lectured at ASUE
On June 18, the Rector, Professor of the Russian School of Economics, Professor of Pompeu Fabra University (Spain) Ruben Yenikolopov lectured on “The main trends of the development of digital economy”.
Before the thematic lectures, the professor has met ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan, and head of ASUE Chair of Finance, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Levon Barkhudaryan was also present at the meeting.
ASUE Rector presented the scientific potential of the University of Economics highlighting the works carried out by Amberd Research Center. “Our cooperation with the HEIs of Russia has always been on high level as the Russian direction was always one of our priorities” – Diana Galoyan pointed out and added the willingness to cooperate with the Russian School of Economics.
Ruben Yenikolopov expressed his gratitude, presented the functioning of the Russian School of Economics under his management and addressed the joint programs implementation opportunities.
Afterwards, the professor lectured for the academic staff representatives of the university on digital economy that is one of the main interests of Ruben Yenikolopov. He obtained his education in Russian School of Economics (2002) and then at Harvard University (2008) and he is interested in the economies of the developing countries, civil economy and data analysis. His lecture on digital economy, role of Information Technologies, Digitalization as the main trends of the digital economy development was extremely interesting for the audience.
Ruben Yenikolopov is in Armenia to participate in the event “Science and Business Days” organized by RA Ministry of Economy.
